Ready to Fly? Gear Up, Young Performer — Here's What to Wear to Every Class!
Apparatus-Specific Recommendations
Aerial Silks, Lyra & Trapeze: Long sleeves and leggings are strongly recommended to minimize fabric burns and skin abrasion.
German Wheel: Athletic shoes or sneakers are required.
Stilts: Athletic shoes are required.
Not Permitted
Loose clothing that may catch on apparatus.
Jeans or clothing with zippers, buttons, or metal embellishments that can damage equipment.
Dangling jewelry or watches.
Chewing gum during class.
Florida Aerial Dance & Circus Arts Dress Code
Required Attire
Form-fitting athletic wear or a leotard.
Leggings or fitted athletic pants that allow full range of motion.
Midriffs must remain covered during class - even upside down!
Hair must be securely tied back away from the face.
Remove all jewelry before participating.
Footwear
Socks are required for all students. Grippy socks are recommended but regular socks are acceptable.
This policy is in place for hygiene and safety, helping prevent the spread of foot conditions and protecting the studio flooring.
