Inspiring Young Artists
Through Aerial & Circus Arts

Creating artists. Building confidence. Inspiring extraordinary lives.

Florida Aerial Dance & Circus Arts is an afterschool circus program for youth ages 7–18. With recreational classes, Competition Teams, and a Youth Performing Troupe — we've spent over a decade building joy, strength, and confidence in thousands of young performers.

Aerial Silks

Aerial silks is one of the most captivating ways for young athletes to build full-body strength, flexibility, and grace — all while soaring above the ground. As students climb, wrap, and flow through the fabric, they develop core power, coordination, and body awareness without even realizing they're working out. Beyond the physical, silks builds something deeper: the courage to try, the grit to keep climbing, and the confidence to perform.

Lyra or Aerial Hoop

The aerial hoop, or lyra, is where artistry and athleticism meet. Suspended in the air, students learn to move with intention — spinning, balancing, and striking poses that demand both strength and elegance. Lyra builds powerful shoulders, a strong core, and incredible body control, while giving young performers a breathtaking way to express themselves. It's circus arts at its most beautiful.

Trapeze, Sphere & Cube

From the classic flying trapeze to the mesmerizing aerial sphere and geometric cube, metal apparatus training is where tradition meets innovation. These disciplines are rooted in centuries of circus history — building the kind of raw strength, fearless coordination, and spatial awareness that no gym can replicate. Training on traditional apparatus gives young performers a foundation that transfers across every discipline: the trapeze teaches timing and trust, the static trapeze demands control and line, and the sphere and cube challenge students to think creatively about movement in three dimensions. At Florida Aerial Dance & Circus Arts, we honor the art forms that built the circus world — and we push our students to reimagine what's possible.

Where Passion Can Take You

We believe our responsibility extends beyond teaching skills—we help build the confidence, discipline, artistry, and work ethic that prepare young people for whatever path they choose.

While many students simply enjoy the excitement of performing and lifelong friendships, others have pursued advanced training and professional opportunities. FADCA graduates have continued their education with Florida State University's Flying High Circus and the New England Center for Circus Arts' ProTrack Program. Others have gone on to perform with innovative companies such as MESH, appearing in professional productions throughout Florida—from Miami to Orlando—at venues including the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, major event centers, fairs, festivals, and arts celebrations.

Whether a student's dream is to perform on stage, compete at a high level, pursue collegiate circus arts, or simply discover confidence through movement, the foundation they build at FADCA opens doors that reach far beyond the studio.

Why Parents Choose FADCA

Founded in 2011 and guided by more than five decades of professional experience, Florida Aerial Dance & Circus Arts has remained committed to one simple philosophy: every child deserves exceptional instruction in a safe, encouraging, and inspiring environment. We intentionally keep our programs personal, allowing every student to be known, challenged, and celebrated as they grow. Through aerial arts, German Wheel, circus disciplines, and original theatrical productions, our students develop strength, confidence, discipline, creativity, and resilience—skills that extend far beyond the studio. At FADCA, we measure success not by the number of students we teach, but by the lasting impact we make on each one.
